EIGHT [Video/Action]
[Video]
[The video starts with Pansear, holding a rolled-up piece of paper. Unrolling it and pretending to read, Chili's voice comes from off-screen:]
HEAR YE, HEAR YE! [Is Pansear (terribly) lip-syncing to this?!] A royal decree per his highness, the crown prince of fire Pokemon—
[Pansear makes a face at someone off-screen, presumably Chili, who laughs before directing the camera at him.]
Hey, Luceti! About an hour after sunset, soon as the stars start showing up, there'll be a fireworks display, courtesy of yours truly!
Go out and enjoy, sit somewhere nice and hilly where it's breezy, maybe bring snacks or someone special!
The way I have it set up, it's best viewed from the village plaza, but if you wanna be closer to the action, you could go up to Cherry Blossom Tree Hill for a closer look!
Ladies and gentlemen, look forward to a blazing, bright display that'll get you all fired up!

[At around 7 PM, the first firework will go up with a loud bang! Light streaming up into the sky, before descending in a shower of sparks, like a blazing tree of light. A number of smaller, colourful fireworks go up in different directions. Enjoy the show, Luceti!]

But soon enough, the time of judgement will come, because eventually he'll have caught up and arrived in person to where Chili is. Maybe even standing right behind his brother when Cilan speaks, which he does once an opportunity comes up for the noise to die down a little enough for him to be heard.]

Though to be fair, that probably is the appropriate reaction, especially since Cilan has certainly noticed the fireworks that Chili most definitely had to have made himself. (He suspected there was something off regarding one or two of the ones he stopped to watch for a second earlier...)]
Hm? Why would I want to hurt you, Chili? [...He's still smiling, which is either a very good sign, or a very bad sign.] In fact, I'm glad I was able to find you unharmed, seeing as attempting to contact you through the journal wasn't working out for us...
[Which, the first half of what he just said was true. He is glad to see that Chili hasn't lost any fingers yet while messing with his homemade fireworks. The second half, however, he is perfectly well aware that you were ignoring him, so really this is probably just the calm before the storm...]

No, it doesn't work like that, Chili--and even if it did, that's no excuse to do something reckless like playing around with homemade explosives! [So no, that excuse doesn't fly with us, mister.] What reason could you possibly have to be doing this anyway? This taste is rather dangerous, even for you.
[At least the part where these are "homemade firworks" are concerned--somehow, it doesn't surprise us that Chili would be interested in fireworks, but it's very tempting to yell at you regardless. Hope you've got a good reason for this to stall the incoming lecture, Chili.]

That's such a ridiculous attempt to try to change the subject...but then he suddenly considers something.] I mean, I guess that could pass for the plot of a Wonder Fighters movie if they make another one that takes place after Part 24 someday, but I think they would be more inclined to fight one another under different circumstances...
