SIX [Video/Action]

[When the recording first starts, Chili just stares at his journal, looking lost. There are entirely too many boxes of pastries and donuts entirely cleaned out save for some stray sprinkles, gathered all around him.

He brightens up rather quickly, though, wearing a big grin and presenting compass.]

Hi, this is Chili!

I'm looking for Mars! She saved me when I was in a real jam, so me an' Pansear have been trying to find her, but... has anyone seen her?

Long black hair, red skirt, looks kinda like those schoolgirls from Kanto...

Um, I think she's a Firebender? Anyone know for sure?

I gotta return something to her!

She says she isn't one... but she shot spears out of fire she made appear from thin air and she was so awesome!

She was like a real life super hero!

Y'know, like Gligarman and stuff! Guys and gals in colourful clothes, flyin' around, shooting laser beams and stuff, beating up bad guys, comic books, movies? The works!

... um, do you guys even have those?

What do you do for fun as kids?

[Video] This is a surprisingly complicated question.

[Zuko thinks about this for a moment.]

Well... when I was a kid my sister and I use to play in the palace gardens a lot. And I would spend time with my mother at the turtle duck pond. Then of course there was firebending practice and the occasional trips to the beach.

[Video; that gag tag. xDDD ... and yes, I'd imagine so, poor Zuko.]

[That's... really boring, Zuko.]

Palace? The heck is a turtle duck? That like a Psyduck?

... you sound like some fairy tale prince. [Not that you look like one, but.] What year was it in your world before you got here?

... [Totally blank expression as his mind digests it:]

[Awkward. Because what could he say to that, really?] So, uh, how do you like things here?

[... What exactly is that supposed to explain. ... You know what? He's not going to ask.]

I don't.

[Not exactly a good question to be asking him so soon after the draft.]

[Good job, Chili, you just killed the conversation.]

... um, I was thinkin' you could try reading a comic book or watching some stuff sometime, I know they got movies... there's something for everybody!

Maybe even things you'd enjoy, like... action movies or something. [I'm sorry, he still remembers you as the guy who flipped out over some nefarious third party who supposedly sent Chili after him, sounds like you could watch an action flick or two, get that stuff out of your system, Zuko.]

[ Its okay Chili you mean well. And despite his grumpiness Zuko does know that. Though he does give the guy a strange look.]

What are movies?

[ He's from well before the time of Movers, bro.]

[Apparently he hadn't listened when she'd left him instructions...but that's okay. She didn't even get his name.

So, transforming with a little sigh, Rei becomes Sailor Mars and opens up a video feed.]

I'm not a firebender, no. But hello there, Chili-san.

[You can forgive him for missing a few details, that ordeal took its toll on him!

But, he's still really happy to find her.]

If you were right in front'a me, I'd give you a hug right now!

[Is that creepy? Maybe a little, he just looks really excited to see her again.] T'bad Pansear's resting, he's missing the chance to see you again, you were so cool, sorry for callin' you a Firebender, what're you really?! I wanna know!

[Did he take out a notepad? Where'd that come from? Is he taking notes?

Mars, I think you have acquired fanboy.]

Where can I return your compass? We can talk again, right?!

[Well...it's not entirely surprising. It happens at home sometimes, though usually to Venus or Jupiter and not her.]

Well, I'm a soldier. The soldier of flame. And I guess...maybe something like a super-hero, in my world. It's a little hard to explain, out of context, but a soldier is the best word for it.

[She smiles gently and nods acknowledgingly.]

I don't mind talking to you again at all, Chili-san. And you can meet me in the Memory Garden near the plaza, if you like. I'm there now.

[Video/Action!]

[dunkinchili]

A soldier... that's perfect, you really are, you were amazing...!

[He nods eagerly.] I'll be there in a sec!

[And he ends the feed! He might show up at a ridiculously short amount of time.]

[Action!]

[And he'll find her there, watering a pair of red roses. One for Usagi Tsukino, and one for Neo-Queen Serenity. Who...complicatedly enough...is also Usagi Tsukino...

When he approaches, she turns and waves.]

Hello, Chili-san. It's nice to see you alive and well.

[Action!]

[dunkinchili]

It's—

[He sucks in a breath, before beaming as he sprints over:] It's really great to see you again too!

Sorry my Pansear couldn't come, I'm sure he'd love to see you again...

D'ya like flowers, Mars-san? [He approaches, leaning curiously over the roses, the compass in his hands behind his back.]

[Action!]

[faithfulflame]

[Smiling, she turns to face him more fully, revealing that she's standing on a crutch, with a bandage around her right leg. Because that detail slipped the mun's mind]

I do, yes. Though, I prefer casablancas. These are a reminder of friends of mine who've left Luceti.

[Now, she's not sure exactly what a Pansear is but she has a guess.]

Pansear is your ape friend? I hope he's doing alright, too.

[Action!]

[dunkinchili]

[He blinks in surprise, wings fluttering when he startles, before wincing.

He doesn't comment, because she's smiling and talking about flowers, so maybe now's not the right time to bring it up.

He nods, brightening up again.] Yeah, that's Pansear, my partner Pokemon! He's recovering.

... I hope your friend's gone somewhere nice, somewhere peaceful.

[Action!]

[She appreciates the thought, as enough people have commented on her leg, and she offers him her most radiant smile. She's somewhat familiar with Pokemon, though only nominally. Enough to know that they aren't pets, and that she hadn't used the wrong term.]

Well tell him I hope he gets better soon.

[Still smiling, though somewhat more wistfully, she gestures at the two flowers.]

The first is for my friend, who's back home enjoying life. The second is for my queen, who protects a paradise kingdom. They're both happy, safe, and at peace.

[Action!]

Thanks, I'll be sure to tell him that! He'll appreciate it.

... that sounds incredible.

[Chili looks at the flowers in wonder.] ... but, if it's a paradise, why are you a soldier? Don't tell me you're an angel? The real deal?

[These wings certainly give that impression, but Rei's words solidify it.]

[Action!]

[Mars shakes her head, laughing slightly.]

In some ways, maybe. It's not an easy thing to explain, and I don't know everything about it myself. The Queen was from my future, when she was here. She told me I was destined to be one of her inner circle. That I'd become a goddess, like her. But that's a long, long time from now, Chili-san. And even a paradise needs guardians.

Though, for now? I'm just Sailor Mars, the soldier of flame.

[Action!]

[He's just going to give her the most enthralled, wide-eyed look. She's amazing, she really is!]

What a cool future...!

[Ah, are we forgetting why we're here, Chili? He suddenly straightens, finally bringing his hands out in front of him and presenting the compass back to her.]

I'm really sorry for taking so long to give it back to you, Sailor Mars!
